Welcome! My Learning Farm offers student-centered academic support for homeschool and after-school students. Instruction in reading, writing, spelling and math through a wide range of targeted academic curriculums and evidence-based methodologies for neuro-diverse learners of all ages and abilities. My Learning Farm also hosts weekly ag education homeschool classes, summer camps, summer academic support and IEP/504 plan advocacy & assessments. About Me
As a mom of two children with learning disabilities, finding the right resources - through IEPs and private tutoring - felt overwhelming and daunting. My life’s work became focused to find ways my children learned best to achieve their academic potential. My personal experience led me to become a teacher at a private school, and now. I am a private tutor and advocate for students and families.
I meet your kids where they are and we build skills together in a place where they feel valued, safe and confident. We build connections. We work together to reduce deficits with structured curriculums developed for neurological-diverse students with learning challenges. Gradually building skills and increasing confidence to develop a lifelong love of learning are important to me. Helping students find success in learning translates to success in so many aspects of life. I want kids to be excited about coming, excited about learning, excited about each new skill mastered with the confidence to achieve. I love what I do and I hope to see you on the farm!

I use targeted curriculum, hands-on sensory supports, and provide student supplies.
Session Availability
Session availability for both homeschool families and traditional school families. I offer homeschool sessions M-F from 9am-2pm and after-school sessions M-F from 2:45-5pm.
Ideally, classes are offered in twice weekly 45 minute 1:1 sessions. I understand that families are busy do my best to accommodate each family in terms of frequency, budgeting, and student's needs.
In Person Session
In Person Sessions take place at My Learning Farm which is located on a small family farm in Penryn, surrounded by nature’s beauty, farm animals and Faith, the super dog.
Virtual Session
Virtual Sessions take place over Zoom.
Cameron has absolutely blossomed since his tutoring began with Ms. Sara. Not only has he developed skills to make him more successful, but he has also greatly increased his level of self-esteem and confidence. Ms. Sara approaches him at his level, encourages him with genuine care and understanding, and creates an environment where Cameron wants to show up and do the work! He went from wanting to throw the towel in when in came to anything academic to becoming determined to show his teachers what he is capable of!
